Natchez is a happening city with plenty of nightlife options. True to Mississippi culture, the city is full of live-music joints with jazz and the blues filling the night air into the late hours. The hospitality of the city's people will keep you out and entertained while you are here.

Natchez also has casinos in and around the area. The Isle of Capri Casino and Magnolia Bluffs feature gambling, restaurants, and weekly entertainment.

One of the local favorite restaurants  where you can find live music is Rolling River Bistro; Wednesday-Saturday at Rolling River you will find live music and great specials.    Bowie's Tavern is another major favorite; its classic look and beautiful location on the Mississippi River make it a gorgeous bar as well. Live music is a major event here as is the full beer menu. Your nightlife tour won't be complete without a stop to Biscuit & Blues which was voted "America's best jazz club" by the Memphis Blues Foundation. Great live music and a tasty menu with California wines and many beers to choose from; this is without a doubt a highlight of Natchez nightlife.

Locals will tell you that there is another place you have to see however, the Under the Hill Saloon celebrates the city's oldest settlement along the river, a place hidden under the hill. Music, dancing, happy hour, and lively action makes this bar fun until the latest hours of the night.

Another activity that offers great contrast to all other Natchez offerings is the classical piano concert at the J. N. Stone House, located in the downtown historic district at 804 Washington St. This program is offered year-round by appointment, and during the Pilgrimage seasons on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:00pm. (It's offered at all times complimentary to Stone House B&B guests.) For more details on this program visit the Antebellum Music Room web site.
