Most restaurants in Cambridge serve until 10:00p.m. (or 11:00pm on the weekend). It's just not a late-night dining town. But for the late-night owls, you have a few choices spread across the squares.
- HiFi Pizza - In Central Square, this is the go to place for everyone who has just seen a band or been drinking at one of the area bars. Their pizza hits the spot after a night out.
- Charlie's Kitchen - In Harvard Square, the kitchen stays open as late as the bar. The crowd is young and alternative, and the jukebox and fried calamari can't be beat.
- Moody's Falafel Palace - A takeout storefront in Central Square serving Middle Eastern food on the go.
- B-Side
- A retro-lounge outside of Kendall Square with contemporary comfort
food to accompany their tasty drinks. This is your best bet for a late
sit-down meal.
- The Hong Kong - Chinese restaurant in Harvard Square on Mass. Ave. The food isn't the greatest, but it's cheap and open until 2am. Pretty good if you're looking for somewhere to socialize as well as grab a bite.
- Grafton Street Pub
and Grill serves their main menu til 11pm every night and a late menu
til midnight sunday through wednesday and til 1am thursday through
Saturday see website for details graftonstreetcambridge.com
- Temple Bar American Bistro serves their main menu til 11pm everynight and a late menu til midnight and 12:30 on weekends see templebarcambridge.com
Alternatively, if you're not looking to sit down, there are several places around the city to get food even later. In Harvard Square alone, you'll find:
- Pinnochio's, which serves fantastic Sicilian-style pizza until 12:30 on weeknights and 2 AM on weekends. Located just off JFK St., right across from the small park.
- Felipe's, in the Garage on Mt. Auburn St., which serves surprisingly-good-for-its-price Mexican food until midnight weekdays and 2 AM weekends.
- Flat Patties, also in the Garage, which flips burgers on the same schedule as Felipe's (unsurprisingly, since they're both owned by the same person).
