Impressive architecture can be found around MIT.   Take a walking tour from the MIT/Cambridge Center T stop to Vasser Street where the Frank Ghery designed Stata Center can be seen.  Its tilting towers and odd angles make you feel like you've stepped into a Dr.Seuss storybook. Nearby is the elegant  Brain and Cognitive Science Center.  Not far from this is University Park which is a lovley small urban garden/park.  I live nearby and never tire of its changing beauty. In it are public art installations that reflect the area's past businesses like  candy and shoe factories.  While in this area, walk around the nearby side streets to and see a wonderful rock sculpture park among the modern buildings that house biotech and other high tech labs.  Another geometric wonder is Simmons Hall, an undergraduate dorm, also within walking distance.
