Every season has in Greensboro its special touch making unique every month of the year. Each season is different: Summers are hot, temperatures hit the 90 F in July and August and sometimes as early as June days are incredibly warm. Expect thunderstorms on hot afternoons

Winters are cold but not incredibly cold. Temperatures hit the 40’s F over the day and the 20’s F at night. Days are as sunny as in Summer and that explains the moderate temperatures during daytime. Expect snow in January and February. Ice storms can be quite strong damaging trees and power lines so be aware of weather forecast updates. Spring and Autumn are the most exciting months. Nature makes its own party and the fading and falling foliage is a spectacle in itself in Fall. Temperatures slowly fall to the 70’s F in October making the day perfect for outdoors activities. Temperatures in Spring can be pretty variable ranging from the low 60’sF in March (it can even snow) to the 70’s F in May. It is the blooming season, nature’s first party of the year.

A special chapter is for hurricanes: they seem not to hit Greensboro as much as the Eastern part of the state, so they shouldn’t be a problem.
