Pane e Vino / Food for People is an Italian restaurant specializing in Italian wines. They are no more a newcomer on the Smith Street culinary scene in Brooklyn and they prove themselves, after 4 years of business and great reviews from locals as well as foodies who travel to the neighboorhood specifically for dining experiences. Pane e Vino is owned and operated by Ervin Rosenfeld, with the help of the New Italian Manager Paolino Bindi (Serafina Downtown, Boom restaurant, Rocco a' la Playa in the Hamptons and Via Della Pace in the East village and many more ).

Pane e Vino is a gorgeous place to experience. They have a romantic garden lit by a candles. Live music tuesday to saturday and great promotions all year long. The Tortellini Carbonara pairs beautifully with one of their good Chiantis. The waiters are great and will take good care of you. If you decide to go there don't miss the dessert, like the  Creme' Brulee' or the pear cooked in red wine!!
