From the airport, you can also get a taxi, which will get you to downtown Jacksonville for about $28 dollars. Taxi service is available from a number of companies, including Gator City Taxi, Citi Cab, and Yellow Cab. Fares to the beaches and Amelia Island are in the $45 range. A shuttle service (Gator City Shuttle) costs approximately $24 for one to four people going downtown and $40 for one to four people going to the beaches and Amelia Island.
Limo service averages $64 from JAX to downtown and $74 to the beaches and Amelia Island. For limos, reservations are required.
From Daytona Beach International Airport, taxi fare to beach hotels runs about $17-$22. Taxi companies include Yellow Cab and Checker Cab.
You will be able to hail a cab in downtown Jacksonville, but anywhere else you will need to arrange for a pickup.

Interstate 95 runs north/south through Jacksonville: Interstate 10 runs east/west through Jacksonville; I-295 Makes a loop around Jacksonville; J. Turner Butler (JTB) provides an easy trek to the beach running east/west to and from Jacksonville and the beaches; I-75 is nearby and provides additional interstate connections.
