Being a town of daytime bustle and athletic activity, Mammoth Lakes’s relatively quiet nightlife centers around dining, bars, and hotels.

Try out the Lakanuki Bar/Café, a tiki themed dining spot that usually has live music and dancing, and in the summertime furnishes outdoor seating.

Grumpy’s is a sports bar with food, pool, and an arcade, and Dublin’s is an Irish pub that possesses a conventional sandwich menu.  Fever is located next to Dublin’s, providing patrons a nightclub with live DJ for after hours fun.

The Eagle’s Nest Saloon is a bar and coffee house worth a visit when seeking to retreat from the cold, and the Mono Inn at Mono Lake is a pricier lounge for wining and dining.  Founded by Sarah Adams, Ansel Adams’ granddaughter, when at the Mono Inn be sure to visit the gallery of Ansel Adams’ art, as well as the exhibits of work by locals.

Despite a lifestyle that slopes dayward, Mammoth Lakes nightlife is vibrant enough, if not all that enormous.
