Mammoth Lakes has been serviced with year round flights from Alaska Airlines since 2009 and expanded to include United Airlines in winter 2010 with seasonal service from mid-December through mid-April.  Access to world-class skiing at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area as well as easy access in summer to the eastern entrance of Yosemite National Park make Mammoth Lakes a year round vacation destination.  Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, abundant scenic natural wonders, high-altitude sports training, boating, golf and much more draw visitors from around the globe in spring, summer and fall.  In winter Mammoth Mountain, the nations third most visited ski resort, boasts some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world.  Other winter activities include nordic skiing, biathlon, snowshoeing, snowcat tours, tubing/sledding and even dog sledding 


Alaska Airlines services Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with two flights daily in winter (mid-december-mid-april) and on daily in summer and fall (mid-April-mid-December) and San Jose, CA (SJC) four days per week in winter.  

United Airlines services San Francisco international Airport (SFO) with one flight daily and a second flight four days per week, San Diego (SAN) operates 7 days per week and Orange County's John Wayne Airport (SNA) offers flights four days per week.
