It's difficult to find a good ballgame between east Texas and Arizona, but you can find a descent game at Cohen Stadium in El Paso. The Independent League El Paso Diablos call this place home. Tickets are really inexpensive here (you'll only pay $7 for the best or $6 for the cheap seats though neither are nosebleed areas). Take the family on a night known as "Quarter Mania." For regular admission price there are $0.25 hot dogs and ice cream sandwiches (unlimited) throughout the game. It is great as able to have all the fun of a major league game for less than $30 (frequent MLB parks and don't find it odd to spend well over $100 for a descent time).

The big stigma associated with this is Independent League Games, but don't worry, they are about the equivalent of a AA minor league team. Some of the players may be seen later in the big leagues as well. Overall it's a good outing. Not the best ballgame you'll ever go to, but it is certainly good cheap family entertainment and worth a see if your in town for a weekend.
