Spring

Paddle for the Border - Paddlers navigate their own canoes or kayaks up the Dismal Swamp Canal.

Chesapeake Arts Festival  - Two day outdoor art festival showcasing the works of local and regional artists; located at Lakeside Park.

Chesapeake Jubilee - The city's biggest yearly event, this four-day festival is a veritable smorgasbord of food, fun, and more; located at Chesapeake City Park.

Summer

American Indian Festival - Features American Indian storytelling, traditional dancing, and demonstrations; located at Chesapeake City Park.

Fall

Symphony Under the Stars - Come listen to the melodious sounds of the Virginia Symphony at twilight; located at Chesapeake City Park.

Great American Food Fest - Sample some of the area's best food and drink; located at Chesapeake City Park.

Heritage Days- Come celebrate the awareness of and interest in Chesapeake's rural roots; located at Chesapeake City Park.

Bark in the Park - Featuring vendors, animal rescues, games, contests, demonstrations, great food and more!

Winter

Battle of Great Bridge - Commemorate the victory at Great Bridge on December 9, 1775 with re-enactors and demonstrations; located at Great Bridge "Bridge."

Chesapeake Christmas Parade - Hometown parade complete with marching bands, costumed characters, colorful floats, and Santa Claus.
