Zion National Park is 30 miles in length and 15 miles across with elevations ranging from 4,000 to 8,700 feet above sea level.  Zion National Park is Utah's most popular national park and is rated by many as more scenic and impressive than the Grand Canyon.  

Tuacahn Center for the Performing Arts. http://tuacahn.org/  This 2,000 seat outdoor amphitheater is host to Broadway style theatrical productions and musical concerts and events.  This was one of the few U.S. theaters to host the production of Les Miserables in 2008.  Hundreds of thousands of people enjoy great entertainment at this venue with 1,500 red-rock sandstone cliffs as a back-drop.   Click on the link for a good list of St. George Utah things to do

Dinosaur Discovery site at Johnson's farm. It is a scientifically significant site with a well planned museum, an introductory film, and volunteers to help you understand the displayed fossils. For more information, visit www.dinotrax.com .

Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum.  One of the world's finest collection of animals.   http://www.rosenbruch.org/

Snow Canyon State Park.   A red and white sandstone formation just north of St. George.   Ancient black lava flows pour across the sandstone.
