There is of course Zion National Park  , which is a great Park to visit with lots to do and beautiful Scenery about a 45 min drive from St George. 

A good State Park is Snow Canyon State Park , along with the other State area  St George Parks. And, there are lots of Hiking and biking trails are available for use in St George.

Pine Valley ,  which is about a 45 min drive North basically of St George is another wonderful area to visit, and offers fishing, hiking trails, small streams, camping, and large pine trees. They also have small store in the area.

 If theatre in the desert is more you scene then you will love Tuacahn. It really is broadway in the desert.

There is shopping at The Outlets at Zion (Factory Outlet Stores),  Red Cliffs Mall , Furniture Row,  and there is a Costco, and mutiple Walmarts as well as other small shops on St George Blvd.  

Obviously Utah is synonymous with "Mormons" or, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS). Their temples are central to the religion. Mormons perform  sacred work for their families in these temples. The St George Temple, and other Historical buildings in St George are consistently one of the top draws to Southern Utah so if you are curious about the religion, while you cannot go inside the actual Temple, you can visit the grounds, and just sit and admire the beauty of the building.

Historic sites  are an important part of the History of the area and are interesting examples of well preserved and crafted  homes and buildings. 

St George is also a busy place with lots of things going on at certain time of the year and offers pretty much yearound things to do. Including various Art events such as the St George Art Festival , as well as other Annual Events

A smaller downtown  Farmers Market is available at various times of the year in  Ancestors square , which also has some old buidings to look at there as well as some small shops, and a nice restaurant, the Painted Pony

There are alot of outdoor sporting competitions that take place in St George such as the Ironman St George, Huntsmans World Senior Games , and, the St George Marathon , are some of the major sporting events that take place in St George.

The  St George Calendar of events is also helpful with your planning a trip there so you can either avoid some of the major events, or come to enjoy them.

 Museums include..... Rosenbruch Wildlife MuseumSt. George Children's Museum, or the Dinosaur Track Museum

Golf is also a major attraction to the St. George area. With 13 courses and year round sunshine, it's considered a golf destination for many travelers. The Red Rock Golf Trail is a great resource for learning more about golf in the area. Sand Hollow Golf Course, has been voted the #1 golf course in Utah for 3 years in a row.  Coral Canyon is always a top course and Sky Mountain is as scenic as it gets. 

The St. George area is an adventurers hamlet, with no shortage of guides or outfitters to fill your adrenaline needs. Whether you want to Skydive over Zion National Park or horseback ride in Snow Canyon State Park, there is an adventure for anyone.
