The Patch is located in the heart of Playa de las Americas, in the area near to Las Palmeras Hotel.
There are several bars in the area, including -
Bad Bob's which has a quiz on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a 50Euro 1st prize
A Dutch bar called The Flying Dutchman
The Jazz Rock Cafe
The Sax bar which has a live heavy rock band most nights
The Drunken Duck has live music from Terry and Steve, cabaret acts and late night karaoke
An Irish bar called the Gaelic Corner
Several karaoke bars including The Full Monty, The World Famous Brewer's Droop and Blaydon Races .
Blaydon and Brewer's Droop also have a variety of entertainers whose shows mostly start about 11pm.
Probably the two most popular bars in the area are The Dubliner which has a live band every night but doesn't really get going till about midnight and Shenanigan's, which has the duo called Looney Tunes (don't let the name put you off) every night from around 10 except Wednesday - fantastic guitarist and keyboard player - some great music and a good dose of comedy thrown in.
Also, there is a club called Apples (which is reported to be adult-themed);
And there's a great buffet Chinese (not Merlin's) you will find Burger King too... On Calle Mexico, where the nightclub TIBU is on the corner There's a Chinese at street level on the left looking towards the beach which is open 4pm - 4am every day.. - Just past the Surf School turn left. The young man in there is deaf so you have to point at what you want on the menu for him but he always has a smile They are very reasonable. there are a couple of tables but mainly takeaway.
Just off the Patch, there's Montana's, which serves excellend food, including Breakfast or Evening Meals (the steaks come out on a sizzling plate)
