Willamette University Theatre is part of the Universirty academic program. It has an avant garde offering thorught the academic year. This year's season included collaborations with the Polish Cultural Institute. Polish professionals from theatre work with university students to produce to plays:  Confession in the Wood by Polish playwright Jan Wilowski and Wowra. Pentacle Theatre presents a variety of shows some kids friendly and others exclusively for adults. Some of 2006 plays included John Patrick's The Curious Savage, Misery (adapted from a story by Stephen King), Inherit the Wind and John Bishop's comedy the Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. This year season ends with the musical City of Angels. the theatre is located at 145 Liberty Street NE, Suite 102.
