Portland has a tremendous variety of wine bars/shops.  Here is a list of venues along with a review of each of them.  These are not listed in any specific order of preference.  More will be added soon! 

Vinideus located in NE at 4759 NE Fremont - Beautiful wine bar/store with more French wines than anywhere else in Portland.  they also have a location in the Pearl at 1019 NW 11th.  This place also has a nice variety of small plates.  Open Tues, Wed 12-7, Thurs 12-9, Fri, Sat 12-10 and Sunday 12-5. 503-284-2795

La Bodega in NE at 1325 NE Fremont - Nice little wine bar that also has a very good selection of beers so this place will appeal to beer and wine lovers alike!  They have a nice outdoor patio for those warm summer afternoons and evenings.  Small plates are available to order and they also allow you to bring in outside food.  Their website says they are open from 11-10 Tues-Sun. but you should call ahead on Sunday to find out their closing time. 503-943-6099

Pour Wine Bar and Shop in NE at 2755 NE Broadway - Great because the owners are so nice and knowledgeable!  They have a nice selection of wines that you would not find in other wine shops.  They also serve small plates.  503-288-6787

Vino Vixen in SE at 2929 SE Powell - Although this is located in a dodgy looking strip mall, once inside you will find you have entered the sexiest wine bar in Portland!  They have a tremendous variety of wine available for purchase.  They charge a $5 corkage fee so you can grab a bottle off the shelf and enjoy it while lounging in the richly decorated and cozy back room.  They don't serve food but you can bring in your own although they do charge $5 per person for the "plate" charge.  503-231-VINO

Oregon Wines on Broadway in SW downtown area at 515 SW Broadway - Small but popular wine bar/shop where you can also pull a nice bottle of wine off the shelf and drink it there.  Wines available by the taste, glass or bottle.  They have one of the best selections of Oregon Pinots in Oregon!  Very friendly owners and a good mix of regulars and tourists.  They serve small plates.  503-228-4655

Everyday Wine in NE at 1520 NE Alberta - a very good selection of inexpensive wines.  You can buy a bottle and pay a $5 corkage fee and enjoy it with food you bring in as they don't serve food.  They have a variety of carefully chosen value wines, but the owner could be more personable.  503-331-7119

Great Wine Buys in NE at 1515 NE Broadway - This is a wine shop with a great selection of wines and they have regularly scheduled tastings on Fridays and Saturdays.  Call to find out what they are offering at 503-287-2897.

Vino in SE at 1226 SE Lexington in Sellwood -   The owner is casual and makes you feel right at home.  It is a store but they have a regular Friday tasting that starts at 5.  Bring your own food and call to see when they have other tastings scheduled at 503-235-8545.
