The Portland Childrens Museum
The Childrens Museum is located across from the Portland Zoo on SW Canyon Road, off of Highway 26. You can get to it by Max Lightrail or car, there is free parking.
The museum is full of exhibits where children can play with Waterworks , Performance Art playing with shadows and light, hands-on construction, and objects like cans and pots that can be used as musical instruments and they can dress up and act on a stage.
There is plenty to do for all ages and it is easy to spend time here. There is also a Baby’s Garden, Storytime where the little ones can act out the stories with costumes and props and Studios where they can paint and sculpt.
In the summer, they offer Day Camps.
The Portland Childrens Zoo is closed on Mondays.
