Adults, check the performances at 2nd Street Theater. Located at 220 NE Lafayette Avenue, the theater is locally managed by Steve and Maralyn Thoma Dougherty who produce seven shows per year. For 28 years, Cascades Theatrical Company has promoted residents their actoral side by inviting them to act in their plays. It is a community theater strongly supported by locals who as viewers and as entertainers make theater happen in Bend. Locals not only work on stage but also backstage in the art, custome, directing and producing departments. The 2006-2007 season features plays as diverse as Wait until Dark, Desire under the Elms and Fruicakes.

Located in the heart of downtown, Tower Theater is "the" stage for national and international productions in Bend. Music, dance, theatre, children's shows,you name it, you'll find it at Tower Theater. Some of this Summer's shows included Peter Pan a Children's ballet, Christopher O'Riley piano performance, Carbon Leaf concert, and The 2006 Reel Rock Film Tour.
