There are many ways to travel to Columbia and the prettiest might be by boat, some people say.   Columbia features a fine  marina and a couple of smaller docks, which offer boat dockage and temporary anchorage. Columbia offers one of the finest deep-water marinas on the East Coast of North Carolina -  the ‘Cypress Cove’. The full-service marina features 55 wet slips accommodating vessels up to 50 feet. Gas and diesel fuel, a pump-out station, electricity, and fresh water are provided. There are bathhouses, a kitchen, a laundry room and a cool snack bar to hang out.

In Spring of 2007, ‘Cypress Cove Marina’ will be running sunset cruises on a 50ft Motoryacht.
