Grand Gaube

Nice litttle fishing village at the top of the map , let's call the geographical position 5past on the map... as the sailors do.

It used to be a forgotten place , but thanks to Calodyne...sur mer, the Legends and Paul and Virginie, it has taken back its place amongst the biggens...

It's mainly Green and Blue.  When I first arrived here 9 years ago , there were not a lot of houses, .,..now there are plenty...

Here we love our little suburb of Calodyne (named after the ship Kalodyne, that sunk somewhere around here)..

Grand Gaube has got a post office, a police station, a doctor, a pizzeria (mainly a take away), and the three hotels listed up there..and soon The Essential Garden.... bed and Breakfast..

We like to live here, because it's quiet, just like a village should be...
