Visitors to Lincoln will find, perhaps surprisingly, that the area offers many attractions outside of its well-known outdoor activities.  The region is full of many things to do, most appropriate for families.  One of the area's most popular attractions is the Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves.  Located in nearby Kinsman Notch, Lost River is a natural wonder of water and granite cliffs carved out by glaciers thousands of year ago.  Visitors to Lost River can visit the sites and caves while walking along convenient boardwalks, constructed to provide safe and easy viewing.  See Lost River's website for directions, hours and admission prices.

Another of the Lincoln area's family attractions is the Whale's Tale Water Park.   This park features several slides, a wave pool, tube rides and games.  It is open every day during the summer season.  Visitors must bring their own towels!  See the website for directions and more information.

Clark's Trading Post is another fun place to visit in Lincoln.  This old fashioned attraction features the White Mountain Central Railroad, where visitors can take a 30-minute scenic train ride up into the mountains.  The Trading Post also has rides, a bear show and a family circus act.  They open every day in the summer until Labor Day.  Their website has directions and admission info.
