The Old Cathedral, officially known as the Basilica of St. Louis, King of France, rises in the shadow of the Gateway Arch. It was the first cathedral west of the Mississippi. A museum is on-site.
Want to live in a former church? The Abbey on the Park was known as the Lafayette Park Presbyterian Church in the late 1800's. It was recently converted into luxury condominiums. Its location across from Lafayette Park is surrounded by one of the largest concentrations of restored Victorian homes in the country.
