Parasailers are common in Mackinaw between May and September, as is salmon fishing. Boasting calm skies and waters, these sports are serviced by numerous companies scattered throughout the area.
Instead of daytrips to the Wilderness Park and Golf Course, why not give miniature golf swingers a sportive chance at the Animal Tracks Adventure Golf course, a popular entertainment spot for vacationers of all ages (and club size).
Mackinac Island State Park
is a place to get some easy, intra-attraction hiking done. Opened in 1895, the Park covers eighty percent of the Island. Since Mackinac bans cars, visitors can experience pristine nature, noise and smoke pollution free, while on their walks to and from Fort Mackinac, Arch Rock and other limestone beauties, the Mackinac Bridge, Marquette Park, and the Visitor’s Center.
