There are plenty of options for the sports lover in Kalamazoo -- whether you're a baseball fan, a soccer fan, a hockey fan, or a college sports fan, chances are good that there is game going on somewhere during your visit to Kalamazoo. A few of the options include:

The Kalamazoo Dogs -- the local Rugby Football Club, the Dogs play a number of matches during their season against other teams in the region.

The Kalamazoo Wings --  The K-Wings Play in the Primier "AA" ECHL Hockey League. Games are played at Wings Stadium, located off of Sprinkle Road which is easily accessible from I-94. The hockey season lasts from October through May.

If racing is your thing, head to the Kalamazoo Speedway , a 3/8 mile NASCAR-sanctioned short-track course.

For those with a penchant for college sports, when school is in session, you'll want to head to the Western Michigan University campus to catch a football, basketball, soccer, or other sports game.

If you're looking for something a little different, check out the Killamazoo Derby Darlins. This team represents flat track derby at it's finest and is one of Michigan's only WFTDA teams. The family-friendly, double-header bouts take place at Wings Stadium always on Saturdays throughout the year.
