From farmer's markets to shopping malls, shoppers can find anything and everything in this city. Two of the notable farmer's markets are the Eastern Market (which offers every kind of food item you can imagine) and Royal Oaks Farmer's Market (where you can get everything from food to arts and crafts). Eastern Market is open Monday - Saturday year round and Royal Oaks is open weekends all year (although during May-December, additional days are added).

There are plenty of shopping malls in the city and suburbs for you if you're suffering withdrawal from being away from your favorite shops at home. The GM Renaissance Center with its seven glass towers is an imposing show of retail therapy. The Swedish monstrosity (otherwise known as IKEA) has recently opened in Canton.
