Without a doubt, Spring and Fall are the best times to visit Detroit, unless you're one of those people who actually likes freezing temperatures, icy winds and loads of snow - then by all means, stop by in the dead of winter. The same goes for the summer season - when temperatures can reach uncomfortable peaks, combined with stifling humidity. On the edges of these seasons, temperatures are pleasant, it's fairly dry and you'll be able to take advantage of the many outdoor activities without sacrificing comfort.

Leaf peepers will especially enjoy Detroit in the Fall when they can watch the tree leaves turn magnificent shades of colors.
