Chatham is a beautiful quaint village at the southern tip (or at the elbow as they call it) of Cape Cod. It is celebrating 300 hundred years of history and it's doing it proudly.  Main street has a variety of local stores and although the stores are pricey, it is a beautiful walk and great for people watching.  The tourist information center is very helpful. The local High School kids work as interns in all kinds of stores and restaurants therefore creating in them a sense of community and belonging.  The town has a feel of serenity you hardly find anymore.
