Winterset City Park is on the small town's SE corner. This quant, small park offers a lot within its 76 acres: hedge maze, covered picnic tables, restrooms, playground, covered bridge, stone bridge, old (rebuilt) cabin, sand volleyball court, and a stone tower with epic scenerary.

The Clark Tower Trail is a must-see if you visit the park.

This windy-dirty road offers lovely views and ultimately takes you to the top of a hill that offers a wonderful view from a stone structure called Clark Tower:

If you choose to enter Clark Tower, the first flight of steps are easy; to get to the top, though, requires a short climb up a small, fixed metal ladder.

Wonderful scenary from the top! Well-worth the climb.

 Hedge Maze

Once done with the Clark Trail, head on over to the Hedge Maze, the old cabin, or playground area (for young children), or the covered bridge and stone bridge! They're all within a short-walk of the parking area!
