Visit the historic 1875 Italianate Victorian home of the 23 rd U.S. President of the United States. Accredited by the American Association of Museums.

The home is a three story Italianate mansion, which features Victorian furnishings including many original Harrison pieces. Changing exhibits depict Harrison's life as Indiana's only elected president, his many accomplishments, family and the Victorian era. It contains many of Harrison’s paintings, furniture, decorative arts, and unique political memorabilia. 

Changing exhibits depict Harrison's life as Indiana's only elected president, his many accomplishments, family and the Victorian era. Recent additions include an elevator and a reconstructed two-story carriage house "old red barn" as it stood behind the president's house in 1888.

Harrison’s grandfather was the first Governor of Indiana Territory and the 9th United States President. His great-grandfather signed the Declaration of Independence. Many people do not know that he was the first President to decorate a Christmas tree inside the White House.

Hours:

Monday through Saturday 10am to 3:30pm
Sundays (June and July only) 12:30pm to 3:30pm

Tours are on the hour and half-hour, and last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
On regular tour days, the last tour begins at 3:30pm.
