The cemetery is the burial site for President Benjamin Harrison, three Vice Presidents Thomas Hendricks, Charles Fairbanks, and Thomas Marshall, 11 Indiana Governors, James Whitcomb Riley, John Dillinger, and many, many others---over 200,000 in all and growing.

Built on what was initially an orchard, it is a beautiful place to visit at anytime but is very beautiful in the fall. There is even a map designated different areas for the foliage with over 100 varieties of trees...many of which are native to Indiana.

It offers a variety of Public Tours and scheduled for Saturday evenings to watch the sunset, with several on Saturday mornings. See their Calendar for a complete listing of events.  Groups may also schedule private tours by calling (317) 920-2644 or by sending an email to tours@crownhill.org.
