Located in northern suburb of Glencoe, these 385 acres should not be missed on your visit to Chicago.  There are just so many surprises that will greet you, no matter what season of the year. There are Japanese gardens, lakes, bridges, greenhouses, stands of trees, fountains/sculptures, secret gardens, and tranquil settings galore. The grounds are just impeccably maintained and pruned. At Christmastime, there are even examples of decorations.  BE SURE and bring your camera and extra battery.

There is excellent access for the disabled and a tram is available. A gift shop and small restaurant are convenient and reasonably priced.

Admission is only $25/car, less if a resident.
