Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry “MOSI” is a not-for-profit, community-based institution and educational resource. The museum has some of the most unique exhibitions and facilities on its more than 300,000 square-foot campus. Facilities include the Kids In Charge! Children’s Science Center and the Whitney Andrews Lang Center for Learning. MOSI is home to Florida’s only IMAX® Dome Theatre providing 10,500 square feet of visual imagery. MOSI has over 450 hands-on exhibits including phase 1 of The Amazing You, a 12,000 square foot exhibition on health and wellness in the beginning of life, childhood and adolescence developmental life stages. Disasterville, featuring Bay News 9 WeatherQuest is an interactive exhibition on the science behind natural disasters. MOSI is also home to the Saunders Planetarium—Tampa’s only planetarium.
