Key West offers wam and sunny weather throughout the year.  Summer visitors can expect high temperatures near 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and those who visit in the winter will have lows near 65. 

Key West has distinct rainy and dry seasons.  The dry season occurs from December through April, characterized by a lot of sunshine and a little rain.  The rainy season occurs from May through October, when visitors should expect lots of showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the mornings.

June through November is the hurricane season, with September being the most likely time for severe tropical storms to hit.  In anticipation of such storms, mandatory evacuations of the area are not uncommon.

Spring is a popular time for tourists to visit, especially for college students on Spring Break.   Hotel rates are typically the highest during this time of year. Christmas and New Years also brings higher than usual prices -- even for season.
