The swap shop is a great laid back way of spending your day if you like bargain shopping. In the summer wear shorts and tank tops, or breathable clothes as there is a lot to see outdoors in the sun. Wearing sunscreen wouldn't be a bad idea.

The food court is also good. They have a variety of just about any kind of food one could want (American, Greek, Hispanic, Italian, Asian, etc.). Beer is available to enjoy while walking through the aisles and indoors.

Boomers in Dania Beach has go-carts, amusement rides (for adults and children), arcade games, miniature golf courses, the only wooden roller-coaster in South Florida and much more.  It is easy to find, just look for the big wooden roller-coaster on I95 between Griffin and Sterling in Dania Beach, Florida.

Surf World Surf Shop in Pompano and Dania beach offer free Surf Lessons every Sunday at 8:30am.  All ages are welcome and they even provide the boards to use. Lessons are held on the North side of Pompano Beach Pier every Sunday.
