Shepherd's Beach Resort is definitely party central. (Recent reviews indicate that the Wave Club may be currently closed for renovations and soundproofing. Their web site indicates a re-opening in February). The Wave Club is on the first floor of the main hotel building, is indoors and is very loud. It had a real modern neon light kind of thing going inside but renovations may change the decor as well. The Tiki Bar is outside of the hotel on the beach. Actually, there is a short pier on the beach where the live band sets up. The tiki bar faces it inbetween the restaurant and the pool. Every weekend, boats pull up and anchor off of the beach and the boaters come in for dinner and/or drinks or just to chill out and hear the band. The crowd on the weekends is young (20's). Beware of long drinking weekends like Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day weekend when crowds can be standing room only. (If you are staying at Shepherd's Beach, you may do well to ask for a room far away from the action - eventually you will want to sleep).
