The shopping opportunities in and around Boca vary depending on what you are looking for:
For a truly "Boca" experience, Mizner Park is the famously landscaped “it” spot for shopping in Boca Raton. But beyond this, it does have good shopping, with 45 specialty shops, 7 decent restaurants, and a multiplex. Essentially an outdoor mall, the shops of Mizner Park face a beautiful green island covered in benches, plants, and gazebos. It is located on Federal Highway, between Palmetto Park and Glades roads: 561-362-0606. A place to stroll and observe, as well as to make purchases, Mizner Park is the quintessential Boca shopping scene.
A little south of Mizner Park is Royal Palm Place, a charming mixed use development. Royal Palm Place is a generous mix of international restaurants, salons & spas, acclaimed shopping, live entertainment, specialties & services, Class A Office Space & 185 luxury rental residences. It is where old world charm meets new world elegance.
Delray Beach (or Pineapple Grove), nearby, has an artsy flair. If you are looking for a slightly more funky atmosphere, you might try walking along Atlantic Avenue. Here you might find antiques, clothing, and art. This certainly isn't an extremely lively area, but it has a dstinctly different feel than Mizner Park, and offers a more unique selection. For more information on shopping in this area, grab the Downtown Delray Beach map and guide at most stores on the strip, or call 561/278-0424.
Finally, for the more serious shopper, who does not care about setting so much as variety, there is the less scenic but more extensive shopping available at the Town Center Mall, which has Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Burdines, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and others, as well as hundreds of smaller specialty shops. It also has a large food court and other restaurants. It is located on the south side of Glades Road, just west of I-95. A more typical shopping experience, without a doubt, but for some a welcome break from the groomed and stylish Mizner Park experience.
