It is possible, but time-consuming, to get around Wilmington without a car. The bus system, DART (Delaware Administration for Regional Transit) First State, has blue and white signs throughout the city indicating its stops. Regular routes take passengers to the malls, museums, theaters, and parks. The minimum fare is $1.15 and exact change is required. Schedules are available
DART also operates the Trolley, a 25-cent ride that takes passengers on a 10-minute trip from the Rodney Square to the Amtrak Station to the Riverfront. The Trolley runs every half-hour on weekdays, from 7 am to 7 pm.
