Visitors to the city who want to check the scores of a game, their email, the news or whatever are in luck. The city is actually working to make the entire city have free wi-fi internet access. Currently downtown and the city's Blue Hills neighborhood are part of a pilot program that brings these areas free wi-fi.

Additionally there are a few establishments that offer wi-fi in the city -

Hartford Public Library at 500 Main Street - The library has wireless internet in certain areas as well as numerous computers for visitors to use.

JoJo's Coffee House at 22 Pratt Street near Main Street - A locally owned and operated coffee shop that also serves up baked goods and sandwiches also offers internet service.

Connecticut Convention Center at 100 Columbus Blvd - There is access in the public spaces and this is not just for people attending an event

Hartford Marriott Downtown Hotel at 200 Columbus Blvd - There is free access in the hotel lobby where there is also a Starbuck's so you can grab a coffee and check your email

Tisane Tea & Coffee Bar at 537 Farmington Avenue in the West End - One of the city's hippest establishments has great food, tea's and coffees which you can indulge in while checking the scores of the big baseball game

Starbucks at 185 Asylum Street in the bottom floor of City Place (downtown) - As with all Starbucks, downtown Hartford's starbucks does offer internet service so you can people watch downtown while checking on where to eat downtown

Real Art Ways at 56 Arbor Street in the Parkville section - A great arts orginazation that has galleries, movies and performances that also provides there internet access for visitors.
