    The most logical way to reach Winter Park by air is flying into the Denver International Airport and then finding some means of getting to Winter Park. There are a number of car rental agencies at the airport, including most of the major international agencies. There are also shuttles that will take travelers to Winter Park. The drive from the airport to Winter Park takes about two hours.

By Car

    Winter Park is located just off of Interstate-70, a major US east-west artery. Take 70 about an hour west of Denver and turn onto 40 West. Winter Park is about 30 miles farther. If you have the time, a delightful way of arriving in Winter Park is going south from Wyoming and taking the winding road through Rocky Mountain National Park, on State Road 34. Entrance to the park costs $20 per vehicle, and is good for seven days. You'll drive on winding mountain roads at over 11,000 feet and see stunning views and wildlife such as elk and moose.
