There are several ways to get to Vail from Denver International Airport, which is a 100 mile drive.  You can rent a car or take a shuttle. The shuttles typically cost $60 per person and they run every hour. Two of the shuttle companies are The Colorado Mountain Express (1-800-525-6363) for reservations and information  visit www.ridecme.com and the Denver Mountain Express (1-877-933-4362).

Parking in Vail Village will cost $16 per day.  Check and see if your hotel offers free parking, if it does, a rental car may be your best option. If it does not, the shuttle may be your best option.

Once in East Vail or Vail Village a car will not be necessary.  A free bus runs from Vail Village to Lionshead and another bus runs from East Vail to Vail Village.  Most buses run every 15 minutes or less and there are many bus stops.
