Mild to Wild Rafting and Jeep Trail Tours is a company that offers a wide range of rafting trips in the Southwest.  They are based out of Durango, CO, but run trips in Arizona and Utah. The rivers that they run are: the Upper Animas River which is said to be the toughest commerically rafted section of river in the U.S. at high water and is located between Silverton and Durango.  The Lower Animas River a family section that runs through the town of Durango for Ages 4 and up.  The San Miguel River outside of Telluride, Colordo which is an intermediate river for ages 10 and up.  Then there is the Upper and Lower Boxes of the Piedra Rivers with the uppper section being an intermediate trip for ages 12 and up, and the Lower Box being a high adventure option for ages 16 and up this river is located between Pagosa Springs and Durango.  They also run the family friendly section of the Colorado River out of Moab, UT where ages 3-93 can partake of a 2 or 3 day trip.  Lastly they run the Salt and Verde Rivers in Arizona which are both intermediate rivers for ages 8 and up.

On some of the milder trips they give people the option to do Inflatable Kayak "Duckies" for ages 12 and up.

 Mild to Wild also offers Jeep Trail Tours, some that take you to the old ghost towns north of silverton that can be done as full day trips, half day trips, and in Combination with the Durango Silverton Narrowgauge Railroad.  They also run a jeep trail tour that goes up to La Plata Canyon that is just west of Durango.
