Roseville is a growing town.  Originally, out in the sticks and a long time railroad town,  It has turned into a great place for food.  Restaurants are busy every night, not just because there are lots of new people moving into Roseville, but the food and selection are good.  Some restaurants that always seem to have a wait are PF Changs, Mikuni, Claim Jumper, Olive Garden, and BJ's Brewery.  Best sushi - Mikuni, Best Chinese - PF Changs and Fats Asia Bistro, Best BBQ - Back Forty,   Best Italian - Il Fornaio at the Galleria, Pasta Pomodoro and Macaroni Grill, Best Mexican - Rubios, On The Border (try the handmade guacamole), and Dos Coyotes (Chevy's went down hill).  Best steaks - Tahoe Joes, Ruth's Chris.  Some of the new and casual places have great food and are always a good bet, like Daphnes Greek Cafe, Pasta Pomodoro, and Chipotle.  Don't miss the Rubio's on the corner of Fairway and Stanford Ranch and on Douglas for some quick fish tacos (always delicious, clean, courteous, and has a good feeling about it).  New additions to the dining options are Crush 29 and the Yard House. Mas Mexican restaurant has opened in the old Cafe Bernardo location.  Blue Suede has replaced Carver's.  Additional newer restaurants that have arrived are Paul Martin's American Bistro, McCormick & Schmicks and Hawks in Granite Bay.
