A restaurant and Wine Bar created by Mike Farwell formerly of Vertical Wine Bistro in Old Pasadena. Chef Claud Beltran formerly of Madeleines has joined Mike to create this Old World Wine Bar on Mentor next to the famous Ice House. The cuisine is small plates and the wine list is spectacular. Over 800 selections and 50 by the glass. The menu features Seared Foie Gras, Shrimp Gumbo, the Farwell Hamburger and to die for Scallops on a bed of corn. There is a great little wine bar and a beautifully decorated French-Bistro style dining room. Outdoors there is a New Orleans style patio with a water fall that's very pleasant in the evening. All-in-all a great addition for Pasadena.
