If you are stopping by Morro Bay you have to visit Giovannis Fresh Fish Market. It is known by the locals as the best place to find fresh fish, crab, and lobster that comes straight off the boats. But it is also known for their award winning clam chowder! Many restaurants in the area serve clam chowder, but if you want the real stuff with lots of flavor and clams - then you should go there, (3 times chowder cookoff 1st PLACE winner in both Judges and Peoples Choice awards).
