People who travel to Carlsbad, California for vacations or to visit friends and family can access the area using a variety of transportation methods. The three most popular are: by car, by airplane, or by train.
By car: Carlsbad is not far from many of the largest cities in Southern California. For example, it is only about 85 miles from Los Angeles, 30 miles from San Diego, 60 miles from Anaheim, and about 50 miles from Tijuana.
