WLAD DRAKULA's TRANSSYLVANIA WONDERLAND is getting step by step what this powerful and rich eastern Hungarian province was once...:

- A mysterious wetted plateau surrounded by the "Dragon's Mountains" which was the old name of the Carpadthians (see the Order of the Dragon founded by the great Sigismundus in 1410)

- A land surrounded by the Carpadthians Mountains like the most magnificent natural wall against the eternal invaders...The famous Transsylvanian passes (gorges) - Cozia, Torzburg (Bran), Buzo, Oituz, Bistritz - were supplied in Medieval times  with fortress-castles to oversee and watch every Greek merchant train mounting from the Low Danube. The Medieval charges and taxes for Transsyllvania were so high and the passing so expensive that sometimes broke out revolts or scuffles. This is why after succeeded entering and admittance many Balkan "brown-faced" people refused to return...

- A land inhabited by eternal Crusaders who came since 1200 to defend what was named "the Eastern Key of the European civilization". The "Transsylvanian point" was the Carpadthian bend where the Turks had to joint the Tartars in order to attack deadly the Hungarian kingdom. At the Carpadthian gorges there were the greatest defending fights against these invaders. How many know that the Transsylvanian women used to dress themselves in brilliant armours and fought close together their husbands and sons?

- The Transsylvanian humanist culture and civilization was so gigantic in the Middle Age that - even it suffered the greatest destruction since 1550 (the Protestant reform) or 1920 (Trianon)  - still last as part of  the wonderful peoples who created it once...
