Old Smoky's is a true "Route 66 Original." It is one of the few remaining pieces of history left from Old Route 66. It has been everything from a BBQ restaurant, to a 24 hour a day diner and now it serves breakfast and lunch. Today, it specilizes in pancakes that are too big for most people to eat, omelets that will take you breath away, Biscuits and Gravy for the hardy. Smoky's country style breakfasts and lunches are reasonably priced, feature hardy portions, friendly staff and food that is too good to discribe. The restaurant seats 50 on the inside and has a patio that serves 16. Most of the time it is busy and finding seating generally takes 5 to 10 minutes during very busy times of the year. It's history runs deep and it's customers run from the likes of Elvis, Chubby Checker and Ernest Borgnine to people from all over the world. If you are looking for a blast from the past, Smokys is the place in Williams to travel back to the days when Route 66 was the theme of the West.
