Sedona is a destination for many outdoor activities, hiking being the most popular with mountain biking becoming a close second.  There are many trailheads located on the edge of the city which makes them easy to drive, hike, or bike to the trails.  There are many other outdoor activities that popular as well including fly fishing, bird watching, and archaeology.  All of the above activities can be done on your own.  You can also take guided hiking, biking, horse, and Jeep tours
