Museums & Attractions in Phoenix

If you are planing a visit to the Capital and largest city of Arizona, you should get some ideas about what to do there. Famous for its museums, Phoenix also has other fun attractions to consider.

The Museums in Phoenix:

As mentioned previously, on of the most popular attraction in Phoenix, are museums. So let's introduce them:

The Outdoor in Phoenix:

Phoenix also offers a great deal of interesting outdoor attractions that both adult and children can enjoy.  

- The Desert Botanical Garden is an amazing cactus garden really worth your visit where you can take a great relaxing walk and visit the butterfly exhibit.  As flowers bloom in spring, try to go there then!
- Papago Park takes you away from the stress of the city. This place offers a lot of fun activities possibilities, such as fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying a picnic. You can plan a sport adventure or a family relaxing day!

- You can then plan a Safari trip at the Zoo. The Phoenix Zoo has a fun attraction: the Safari train which allows you to visit each animals one after the other. This is a great plan with younger kids as they don't like to walk as much. And if they feel adventurous, you can even take them feed the giraffes!

- At Deer Valley Rock Art Center you can see the Native American rock art. This nature preserve is more than a park, it is a archeological site  and museum. Very interesting to visit.


The Nighlife in Phoenix:

After a busy day of visit, you might be ready for a nice evening out. Scottsdale always offers great venue of performing art. In Phoenix itself, you have the opportunity to check out the Phoenix Symphony Hall and watch the Arizona Opera perform.
