Tel. (02944) 430153. Located in the "Feria Municipal" (municipal crafts fair) complex, on the corner of Moreno and Villegas, in the downtown area. Moreno is one block up from Mitre. This Mapuche co-op has a wide variety of wool products (hats, sweaters, socks, etc.) that have been dyed using natural herbs, fruits, and plants such as yerba mate, mint, currants, and onion skins. This co-op is fully operatd by Mapuche women, who attend the store. Each product is tagged with the name of the woman who handmade it. New arrivals come in every week.

Manos Criollas 

This shop combines sophistication and rusticity in leather, horn, silver and other natural materials. From gaucho knifes to Chinchilla coats, purses, wallets, shoes and bags, the visitor cand find very interesting stuff both for using, keeping as a souvenir or as authentic hand made Argentinian gifts. The shop is kept by it´s owners, who speak great english and give very precise indications for moving arround the city. It´s in San Martin Street, just in front of a chocolate factory.
