Mama Africa: A uniqe dining experience awaits you in this true African style restaurant. The restaurant is situated in the centre of Cape Town. The interior design is inspired by African huts and makes you almost feel like eating in the bush. The menu consists of various delicious African dishes. Try "Dovi" - a creamy Zimbabwean stew with chicken, spinach and peanuts. Also try the Ostrich steak, which should be ordered "medium to rare". But dining isn't all this restaurant has to offer - live African music will be played by a band throughout the evening. Green Dolphin: If you like Jazz music, then this is the place to go. This restaurant is situated right at the V&A Waterfront with a lovely view of Table Mountain. The menu consists of various starters, salads, meat dishes and seafood, as well as vegetarian dishes and pasta. There are three live Jazz performances every night between 8PM and Midnight. A live music charge will be added to your bill. Cape Town Fish Market (CTFM): This is a restaurant chain with various venues in and around Cape Town. Here you will get some of the best seafood dishes for reasonable prices. Try the Calamari and Linefish Combo. If you like Sushi, then this is also a good place to go. Try the Yokohama Medium Combo, Prawn and Avo Fashion Sandwich, Gift Wrap Salmon or the Salmon Roes. The nicest and most stylish CTFM is situated in Tygervalley, a shopping mall north of Cape Town (about 20 minutes drive). There are also CTFMs in the V&A Mall and in Century City, Canal Walk.
Blue Waters: Blue Waters is situated in Somerset West, approx. 40km outside of Cape Town. This restaurant is known for its excellent seafood dishes and sushi. If you order a certain amount of sushi, it will be served on a little wooden boat. You have to pre-book a table as the restaurant is fairly small and very popular. Arnolds: If you enjoy good food served by friendly waiters in a most pleasant atmosphere at a very reasonable price, then Arnolds is the place to go. Situated on Kloof Street, it is a fairly small and usually busy place. With such a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, it is not hard to see why. There is a great range of dishes to choose from on all three menus. A great dish to try is the South African Game Platter, a little bit of everything. Don't forget to mention the complimentary bottle of wine that is available for tables of two or more to take home with you after your meal is finished. 95 Keerom: An excellent Italian restaurant located just off Long Street.
Perfect food and service with the executive chef making a point of visiting every table to explain the dishes of the day. Not too expensive with a 3 course meal, wine, water, coffee and liquors costing less than 50 pounds sterling for two. It was voted second best restaurant in Cape Town during 2006. Booking essential.

Tank: Located in the very fashionable Cape Quarter of De Waterkant. Serves an excellent selection of seafood and sushi as well as other meat dishes and desserts. Reasonably priced, as the menu on the website demonstrates. Get there early and get a seat outside to watch the world go by.
